Winrar 4.0 Now Available in German Language

The fourth major release of the program Winrar Pack is now available in German language for download . The program aims to RAR archives and self extracting file packaged photo-video files respectively to 30 percent faster than unpack than older versions.

It stores passwords for encrypted archives for resubmission in the integrated password manager. For packing and unpacking can be called stored passwords. In this way, Winrar extracted several selected archives, if they use the same password. If you enter none, Winrar skips while extracting encrypted archives. The password is not encrypted archive itself: Who has access to the computer can also access the passwords.

The Unicode support will allow the manufacturer Rarlab have improved. So shall connection with Unicode characters in file names any more problems when renaming, converting, and occur in Search. Winrar 4.0 also supports the Blu-ray ISO files used by file system UDF 2.50.

The test version runs for 40 days without restrictions and then disappears shareware principle at the start after a demand for payment. A full version costs 35.64 €. The software runs on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, there is a command line version.
