Android Navigation Bypasses Congestion

Google has a blog entry announcing that the navigation app for Android smartphones now current traffic information into account when planning the route. The anti-jam feature is available in large cities in the U.S., Canada, France, Britain and some other countries are available. German users will have to bide their time.

Google determines the flow of traffic from the position and speed of other users who are traveling the same route to and disclosure of their data have agreed to the anonymous.
