Dual-core chip and 4.3-inch screen on Galaxy S II

In mid-August will arrive in Argentina the Galaxy S II (although it is unclear which operator). I was testing the computer to see how it compares to its predecessor (the Galaxy S) and smartphones of 2011.

Aesthetically, the phone is in line with S Galaxy, very sober design, with the Start button and two buttons Android virtual menu and back, sides. The screen is now 4.3 "(with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels), and the team is generally wider. But yes, it is remarkably thin: 8.5 mm thick, which is pleasing to note moment.

Super Screen AMOLED + dominates the team, of course (not much more to see), and is fantastic in terms of brightness, contrast and color fastness.

The phone has 1 GB of RAM (of which 833 MB available to user) and a dual-core chip at 1.2 GHz, designed by the Samsung. Is met here as I said a while ago LG Optimus 2X, Motorola and other mobile Atrix dual core. Anyone coming from a cell with high-end chip at 800 MHz or more will not notice major changes in the speed of the core applications, a SMS is not faster. Yes Web pages load faster, heavier, and so do the complex applications, typically games with realistic graphics. And be able to withstand greater loads in the future, because new applications will build more powerful processors.

Samsung took the right decision to adjust just the aesthetics of Android 2.3.3, panels applications instead of the full list, and offering various widgets to virtual desktops. The team does not include a digital TV tuner, FM radio and does offer a good 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and can record video in full HD.

The S Galaxy II has a 1650 mAh battery. In the daily bustle at night made it a comfortable load rest after being all day with 3G on, checking several email accounts, downloading updates from Twitter and others.

Beyond the price you get to have this equipment (which will be built in Tierra del Fuego), the phone was excellent, both in design and performance.
